Tom Fennell :
Executive Pastor

Tom is married and the father of two children. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nyack College, Nyack, New York, in 1967; and a Masters of Divinity degree from Bethel College, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1970. He previously served as Minister of Christian Education at Edgewater Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Excelsior Covenant Church, Excelsior, Minnesota; and Old North Church, Canfield, Ohio. He also served as senior pastor at South Kent Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, Pennsylvania, as well as planting a church (Woodland Hills Community Church) for the Mideast Baptist Conference in Holly Springs, North Carolina prior to assuming his current position in August 1998 at Old North.  

As Executive Pastor, Tom oversees all day to day operations of Old North including staff, finances and building and grounds. Tom also has specific responsibilities of overseeing the foreign missions outreach and caring ministries of Old North.

His interests include sports, music and traveling.
